How to revoke consent
Consent can be revoked by any reasonable means. You do not have to use a specific form of words, and you do not have to reply to a text with a specific keyword — though the keywords below are always honoured.
- Reply STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPT OUT, REVOKE or END to any text message.
- Say “stop calling”, “take me off your list” or similar on any call.
- Email [email protected] with the number to be suppressed.
- Email [email protected] with the word STOP in the subject line.
What a revocation covers
A revocation received here suppresses the number across this site and its operator. If a professional or partner network contacted you directly, tell them as well — they maintain their own suppression lists and are separately responsible for honouring them.
Timing
Revocations are processed within 10 business days of receipt, and keyword replies to text messages are suppressed immediately. One confirmation message may be sent within five minutes of a revocation, containing no marketing content.
National and state Do Not Call registries
You can also register with the National Do Not Call Registry at donotcall.gov. Registering there does not automatically revoke consent you previously gave to a specific business, so if you want calls from this site's partners to stop, send the request here as well.
